    •    Innovative and progressive maneuvers
    •    Combination of major maneuvers
    •    Variety of maneuvers
    •    Speed, power and flow

Heat Rules
    •    Heats are 15 or 20 minutes long. Please check in with us about this before your heat.
    •     Please check into your heat 15 minutes prior to start time.
    •    Surfers can paddle out once they’ve checked in and put on jerseys, 5 mins prior to their heats but not until the beach marshal told them too.
    •  The surfers paddling out must NOT catch a wave before their heat starts (1 horn blast and sign turns green). They must stay away from the     competing surfers until their heat starts and make sure not to get in their way. Surfers paddling out can do so outside of the flagged competitors area.
    •    1 horn starts the heat (heat board green)
    •    When 5 minutes are remaining the heat board will turn yellow.
    •    2 horns finishes the heats (heat board red)
    •    Any waves caught after the horn is not counted.
    •    When the heat is over all surfers must come in ON THIER STOMACHES.
    •    Surfers must stay in front of the judges and in-between the beach flags (if drifting, have your surfer get out and move)
    •    Surfers will be judged on their best 2 waves, but will only be judged on the first 10 max.
    •    Surfers must not interfere with other competitors rides during the heats.
